About Us

The Body Bureau began during a career break in 2024. I started doing research on natural, homemade skincare to pass the time, and because I wanted a creative outlet to compliment my drawing and painting.

The more I read, the more I was determined to make a selection of natural products without the nasties which are often found in commercial store-bought soaps, body scrubs, etc., and as I follow a plant-based skincare regime, I figured it seemed only natural that the rest of the body needed to be taken care of in the same manner. 

So, The Body Bureau, with a focus on the earth's natural abundance, became a reality.

Additionally, apart from being natural, our products (and partners) had to be locally sourced, as we are a proudly South African brand!
